People in Gaza are in the midst of a humanitarian catastrophe and
urgently need help.
There is no need to take sides; the only need is to help save lives.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Since the horrific Oct. 7 Hamas attack that killed 1,400 Israelis (including children) injured 5,431 and took 200+ hostages, Israel’s military has been bombing Gaza indiscriminately. “The emphasis is on damage and not on accuracy.” (Israeli army spokesperson, Daniel Hagari).
Israeli forces dropped 6,000 bombs on Gaza during the first 6 days alone and the bombing continues to intensify. A ground invasion is imminent.
Impact of Israel’s attacks on Palestinians in Gaza, Oct. 7-25:
Israel’s Blockade on Vital Humanitarian Aid
“Rapid and unimpeded humanitarian access into and throughout Gaza is a matter of utmost urgency… The people of Gaza are in desperate need of relief and support, and our collective humanity demands swift action to alleviate their suffering.” (UN Relief and Works Agency/ UNRWA)
“Starvation is being used as a weapon of war against Gaza civilians”, Oxfam said today as it renewed its call for food, water, fuel and other essentials to be allowed to enter Gaza. (Oxfam press release Oct 25)
"In international law there is a ban on what is termed collective punishment, in this case the collective punishment of the entire Palestinian population of the Gaza Strip. Not all of them are members of Hamas and not all of them are responsible for this (Oct. 7) attack, but they are all being affected by this reaction from Israel just the same — indiscriminately.“ (Dr. Stefan Talmon, international law expert)
